A warm greeting to the music community. I am going to share my trumpet performance of "Al rangone (Habanera Beguine)," a song composed by Mariano Mores. This song combines Habanera rhythms, of Cuban origin, and Beguine rhythms, of Caribbean origin. The rhythm is syncopated in 4/4 time with a melancholic cadence typical of tango. The melody line is very distinctive for its chromaticism and broken phrases. The musical background features the bandoneon's phrasing, the marked piano rhythm, and a backdrop of violins and double bass with simple percussion. It's a purely instrumental work, but fortunately, I found some very interesting lyrics in Italian. I've had the opportunity to play several pieces in the genre, and I love that mix of melancholy, passion, drama, and elegance. The dance is vehement, with abrupt, improvised movements and a close embrace. Without a doubt, tango is a thing of beauty.

Un afectuoso saludo a la comunidad de Music. Les comparto mi interpretación con la trompeta de «Al rangone (Habanera Beguine)», que es una canción compuesta por Mariano Mores. Esta canción combina ritmos de Habanera, de origen cubano, y Beguine de origen caribeño. El ritmo es sincopado en un compás de 4/4 con una cadencia melancólica típica del tango. La línea de melodía es muy peculiar por su cromatismo, y frases quebradas. En el fondo musical destaca el fraseo del bandoneón, el ritmo marcado de piano, un fondo de violines y contrabajo con una percusión sencilla. Es una obra netamente instrumental, pero afortunadamente encontré una letra en italiano muy interesante. He tenido la oportunidad de tocar varios temas del género y me encanta esa mezcla de melancolía, la pasión, el drama y la elegancia. El baile es vehemente, con movimientos abruptos e improvisados y un abrazo cerrado. Sin duda, el tango es una belleza.
In life, we can undertake things that require effort, even trying again and again. My parents tell me that when I was a child, I barely stood up and started taking steps and wanted to run. However, after several falls and attempts, I succeeded. Falling is an episode that can happen many times, but one fall, one failure, or one stumble does not define who we are or what we can become. We must not cling to the fall, or to the rocks we trip over. I remember once, standing on a terrace, and I didn't notice there was a metal bar on the floor. I hit myself very hard first, and after enduring the pain, I continued to take down the clothes that were hanging on the floor. As soon as I looked away, I hit myself again, in the same place. This time with more serious consequences. I developed a small wound on my leg. After that, I didn't want to do it again. So I learned my lesson. En la vida podemos emprender cosas que requieren esfuerzo, incluso intentarlo una y otra vez. Mis padres me cuentan que cuando era un niño, apenas me levanté, empecé a dar pasos y ya quería correr. Sin embargo, después de varias caídas, y de intentarlo, lo logré. Caerse es un episodio que puede ocurrir muchas veces, pero una caída, un fracaso, o un tropiezo no define quiénes somos y lo que podemos llegar a ser. No hay que aferrarse a la caída, ni a las rocas con las que tropezamos. Recuerdo que en una oportunidad estaba en una terraza y no me percaté que había una barra de metal en el piso. Me di un primer golpe muy fuerte, y después de aguantar el dolor continué bajando la ropa que estaba colgada. Apenas me descuidé, me di un segundo golpe y en el mismo lugar. Esta vez con consecuencias más fuertes. Se me hizo una pequeña herida en la pierna. Después de esa ocasión no quise hacerlo otra vez. Así que aprendí la lección. Espero que esta semana se llenen de motivación para seguir intentando lo bueno. Dios les bendiga.
