Greetings to all of us who love music. This beautiful sound art accompanies us every day and makes our lives happier. Today I am pleased to share my trumpet performance of "Look To The Sky", a bossa nova song composed by Antônio Carlos Jobim and released on his 1972 album, Jobim. The rhythm is syncopated and fresh, with a relaxed and moderate tempo. The melody is fluid and warm, with soft intervals that convey serenity. The English lyrics invite you to contemplate the beauty of nature and accept the cycle of life. It was originally called "Olha Pro Céu" in Portuguese. I have had the opportunity to play several of Jobim's songs, and I love this combination of jazz and traditional Brazilian folk music. Bossa nova is a reflective, relaxing genre that makes you feel free.

Un saludo cordial a todos aquellos que amamos la música. Este hermoso arte sonoro nos acompaña cada día, y hace nuestras vidas más felices. Hoy tengo el agrado de compartir mi interpretación con la trompeta de «Look To The Sky», una canción de género bossa nova compuesta por Antônio Carlos Jobim y lanzada en su álbum de 1972, Jobim. El ritmo es sincopado, fresco, con un tempo relajado y moderado. La melodía es fluida y cálida, con intervalos suaves y que transmiten serenidad. La letra en inglés te invita a contemplar la belleza de lo natural y a aceptar el ciclo de la vida. Originalmente, se llamaba "Olha Pro Céu" en portugués. He tenido la oportunidad de tocar varias canciones de Jobim y me encanta esa combinación entre el jazz y la música tradicional folclórica brasileña. La Bossa Nova es un género reflexivo, relajante y que te hace sentir libre.
We live in a world where spending is prioritized over investing. It's incredible how you go out with cash and meet people in need, your heart softens, you part with something, then you stop by a store and buy things you hadn't planned on, some worthless, others unimportant. At the end of the day, you come home with no money, perhaps in debt, and on a limited budget. A famous pharmacy chain is set up to make you buy things you don't need. Perhaps this model seeks short-term satisfaction, taking our focus off what's most important. When we invest, we prioritize our efforts and resources, but when we spend, it creates a temporary and ephemeral pleasure. The same thing happens with our time; we can invest it in our family, our friends, and our spiritual development. Or we can spend it on things that aren't worth it, only to end up saying the tragic words: "If only it had been or done?" I hope you enjoy this beautiful topic with all your heart.

Vivimos en un mundo donde se prioriza más gastar que invertir. Es increíble como sales a la calle con efectivo, y te encuentras con personas necesitadas, se te ablanda el corazón, te desprendes de algo, luego pasas por una tienda por algo, y compras cosas que no tenías planeadas, algunas sin valor, y otras sin importancia. Al final del día, llegas a casa sin dinero, quizás deudas, y con un presupuesto limitado. Una famosa cadena farmacéutica esta organizada, para que compres cosas que no necesitas. Tal vez este modelo busca satisfacer las cosas a corto plazo, y nos quitan el enfoque de lo más importante. Cuando invertimos priorizamos nuestros esfuerzos y recursos, pero cuando gastamos nos crea un placer temporal y efímero. Igualmente pasa con nuestro tiempo, podemos invertirlo en nuestra familia, en nuestros amigos, y en nuestro desarrollo espiritual. O podemos gastarlo en cosas que no valen la pena, para al final decir las trágicas palabras: ¿Si tan solo hubiera sido o hecho? Espero que de todo corazón disfruten de este hermoso tema.
