Living in a world where it feels like everything is going at a very fast pace I always choose to stop and let time pass, I'm only human, I'm not a bot so I should not try to be one right? Hehe, yes and that goes to you too. Like the quote I added above, I love doing the things I love, I love going the places I want to, eating the food I want to eat and so on because by so doing I easily fall in love with doing them. I know how important I am to myself and I just can't risk my life careless over something that I have little power over, so focusing on the now is a must.
As a minimalist, I always do what I know I can do and worry less of the things I can't do. So many times we are so concerned about what we can't do instead of focusing more on the little we can do. If you are not a minimalist you will agree with me that you are a victim of this, because it will surely happen. As a minimalist you should focus more on the now than on the morrow, it's a waste bothering so much about the day you have not yet seen. Being a minimalist helps you to cut some slack away from your busy mind trying to do almost everything at a time.
I know we have to be purposeful and goal oriented but hey, when your goals are getting your mind troubled you should do something about that and I will advise you review such goals. Setting goals for oneself is not something we should be working up over when we don't seem to be getting it, it is something you know it is not fixed, you set it for yourself so you should be able to know your limits, though not your end. As a minimalist, I tend to work hard but smart in the sense that, I set goals that are SMART and not just setting them to impress whoever.
We all have a target we are aiming at and one of the best ways to hit our target is by planning towards it bit by bit, don't rush it. We don't have to rush anything, we just have to make sure we are moving and focused on our goals and that way you will feel free and relaxed physically and mentally. Like you know, our minds can be scary most times with the wild thoughts that comes in from time to time, so it is very important to know when to say NO to some of these thoughts. Like I've said in one of my article, our mind is under our control, it goes where we send it and it remains still if we don't send it anywhere. We send our minds to places through the things we see, hear and even touch.
Our minds are very powerful just as much as we are and that is why we have to be very careful because it can easily gain full control over us. I know these things and that is why I do not like leaving things undone because the more I do that, the more I affect the well being of my mind. Once my mind gets accustomed to sure habits, it might grow to become one habit that might be very hard to change. So as a minimalist, you take that full control of your mind and send it where you want it to be and that will surely help you to have an improved life because it's not something just anyone can do.
As a minimalist you do not show your fears even when you are the most scared one instead you know that you can do nothing about the situation so you just calm down and just try doing your best in a very calm way so you don't make others panic and make the situation worse. Minimalist are very positive even when it's obvious that they should be negative and this is not because we are not having negative thoughts, no, it's just so we can manage the reaction of others so they don't worry too much and make mistakes.
Being a minimalist does come with some really good benefits, you don't get worried about too many things at the say time, you just have to calm down and take a deep breath before acting, hehe. Also you know you will be fine no matter what because you focus more on the now than later. So for those of you that are not sure what minimalism is, you can do a little research about that more and be sure if you are already a minimalist or not and if you are not, you should think twice about it, hehehe because it's so much fun.
Have a great week ahead and a beautiful Monday
