If we understand, then minimalism has many meanings. And the meaning I understand is simplicity. Simple life will bring us to peace. And excessive attitude will be disastrous life. How many people were crushed because of the greed they had.
I personally prefer a simple way of life. I didn't expect more. We all know, life is a journey to death. What we must prepare for is good deeds, not wealth or greed. Basically we all are preparing for death, it's just that sometimes death comes in the most shocking way, even we are not really ready, but death has finished us.
As a religious person, of course I am required to live a simple life. The safest way to live is to think today for tomorrow, and think about tomorrow for the day after tomorrow, and so on. This is the requirement of my religion as a Muslim.
And I feel the benefits by living a life mindset like this. That is, we do not accommodate the burden of thought at once. Don't hold yourself hostage with things that don't necessarily happen. If we have a problem that must be faced next month, then don't think about it too seriously today, because today you deserve to be happy, because tomorrow you may not get that opportunity. Isn't our purpose in life just to find happiness? Abundant wealth, high position solely for pleasure and happiness. And the book must admit that, not all rich and high-ranking people live happy lives. This is not just a fabricated story, we see the history of the world from time to time, and that's what happened.
A beautiful little house, with a few meters of garden in front of it, some cute children, and a simple life might make us more calm and happy compared to those who live in luxury apartments, cars with billions of prices, businesses that thrive everywhere, maybe they just never get a good night's sleep because they are worried about their wealth, worried about the company going bankrupt, robbery targeting and so on. Of course the information is not in their favor.
So I think that minimalist living is in all respects a demand to reach the highest point of happiness, not just a suggestion. Eating amber bread that we get well will be more delicious than enjoying a stolen luxury dish, right???
Live simply if you want to be happy...!
