It's my first time participating here and special thanks to @otuyanancy for the invite I appreciate it friend.
When I first saw the hot question I noticed the question was very hot😅, because most times when I want to embark on a journey I get confused when it comes to packing luggage, this particular question has kept me thinking.
If you had to downsize and relinquish most of your possessions, what are the five things you would take with you that you couldn't live without?
What do these things mean to you?
My phone and earphones
I think my phone is my assistant boyfriend and my earphone is the one assisting the assistant boyfriend🙃 because as a person I can't do without my phone and earphone. These two tools are very important in the sense I'll need my phone to communicate with my family and loved ones.
My phone brings the world closer to me, it enables me to access the internet and interact with people from all over the world. I think the reason why I consider my phone as being one of my possessions I couldn't live without is that it's the first phone I bought with my own money, just like people will say you'll cherish things you"suffered" to get compared to the ones provided, given or bought for you by others. Then my earphone when plugged into my phone serves a lot of purposes I can listen to music.
My purse
I know we run a cashless economy where you don't have to walk around with cash just your debit card well I do walk around with cash because the other might disappoint, I have a lot of things in my purse, I have my debit cards, my ID card often some cash if I feel the need to purchase something, I love going out with my debit card and cash cause I feel the need might arise to make use of any of them, I hate being stranded.
Clothes
Very important I don't intend to walk naked so I'll have to take some of my clothes along to keep my body warm, and also packing extra clothes is necessary cause at some point I might decide to change my clothes.
Shoes
This pair of shoes was a gift to me from my ex-boyfriend on my last year's birthday, it's the first time I've ever received a birthday gift, so this particular one is very special to me, I hope I can prolong its lifespan by taking care of it.
Bag pack
Wow, I remember the first time I had this bag pack, it was given to me four years ago by my aunt who stays in America when she came to visit Nigeria, I think now you know why it's special, it's one of my favorites.
I can make use of my bag to pack the rest of the stuff mentioned above
Some other things I'll like to pack are; my body cream, roll-on and my body spray very important. Honestly, I do not like to think of myself in such a manner I see how important these items are to me, and I also know I would not be able to exist mentally without them, I couldn't imagine my life without these items.
