It was a difficult process choosing, but here are the five things I really cherish.
My Laptop
This is my laptop. It is very dear to me. My very good friend gave it to me some time ago as a gift and I've cherished it ever since. I use the laptop for a lot of crucial things. It is one of the most important possessions of mine.
During my undergraduate days, the laptop was pivotal while I was doing my project in my final year. I don't know how I would have fared back then without the laptop. Also, I used the laptop to learn programming. I still use it to improve my skills in programming. I write code virtually every week on my laptop. I build coding projects with it and it is very satisfying for me. I am a tech enthusiast and I really love coding. That's why my laptop is so precious to me.
My stethoscope
My stethoscope reminds me every day of the struggle and stress I passed through in med school. It always makes me proud. Medical school was never easy. The constant studying was exhausting. Of course, I had to spend a good amount of my time studying if I were to make it out of med school.
Whenever I look at my stethoscope, I feel proud and satisfied. It is proof that I have come a long way. It is proof that I have accomplished something really great for myself despite the hurdles and difficulties.
My Plant
I planted this tree some time ago. It is a paw paw plant. I nurtured it, protected it, and made sure it grew to the level it is now. It has now grown so tall. It has also produced a lot of fruits. Everytime I look at it, I feel proud. I remember how I would check up on it every day and water it every morning. Today, all my effort was worth it.
My special shirt
This shirt is one of my favorite shirts. It was given to me by my good friend. She gave it to me on my birthday and I have cherished it ever since. That act alone brought us closer. She is very dear to me. Everytime is see or put on the shirt, I am reminded of her. I really value the shirt.
My favorite cup
This cup means so much to me because it was a childhood gift from my mother. I was given that cup when I was a little kid and it has been dear to me ever since. It was one of the first real gifts I ever received. I am surprised that the cup lasted till now. Perhaps it's because of how much I cherished it.
Those are the five things I cherish. Thanks for reading.
