Let it flow.

That’s what my friend told me — and that’s what led me to take this photo, and the ones that followed.

I loved how the palm trees looked, as if they were inviting me to photograph them and place that phrase right in the center.

Some context: about an hour earlier, my friend had messaged me to go to the beach. And with that same spontaneity, I said yes.

We hadn’t seen each other in months, and it had been weeks since we last talked.

The beach became the perfect excuse to pour our hearts out and take some beautiful pictures.

The day ended with a clear thought:

you have to let it flow.

We can’t control life or the things that happen. Much less people and their intentions.

But we can always escape to the beach, enjoy the view, and let nature wrap us in its embrace.

When she said “let it flow,” I remembered that Beatles song that goes:

Let it be.

Night fell and we were alone, but instead of feeling scared, we enjoyed the landscape even more.
