I've never experienced a winter like this before in my life!
Bulgaria has been really good to me since I'm here and given me a lot of warming sunshine, even now in winter.
I really enjoy that, and try to be outside as much as possible, when the weather is nice like this.
It's so good for my body and my mood :-)
So the other day I went for a walk to explore the abandoned houses near to where I'm living (my post and photos about that: Lost Places in the Balkan Mountains).
And I also found some old wooden barns, some of them still with a great amount of hay in them. Food for the animals, that used to live around here.
I loved how the sun was shining through the gaps between the wooden planks, creating beautiful shadows on the hay-covered floor, and a very special atmosphere.
I'm really looking forward to spring, it's gonna be beautiful around here, with all of nature waking up and starting to bloom again!
But until then I'm enjoying the quite winter months.
Although I don't know, if we get real winter weather here this year, December was so warm and spring-like!
I wonder if that's normal weather for Bulgaria, or if it is just unusual this year, like everything else ^^
