Facing Difficulties at the Beginning of the Year

We often believe that salt is one of the causes of hypertension and stroke. But it turns out that salt is also very useful for human life if it is not consumed too much. Typically, salt is used in foods designed to enhance the delicious taste. It is highly recommended to use salt according to the needs of the body so that it does not cause certain health problems. Some of the countries that produce the most salt are China, the US, India, and a number of other countries. Nowadays, salt is one of the most important raw materials for human life.

A few days ago I visited a traditional salt production site. I had a light conversation with the salt maker. It is very interesting to learn how the process of making salt takes place. It turns out that this is not easy and takes a lot of time. Currently, salt farmers cannot produce it because it rains from time to time. The process of making salt is greatly influenced by the weather and the content of seawater. When the rainy season comes, it will affect the evaporation process, so it will affect the decline in salt production productivity.

Indonesia has a sea and not all seawater contains a good level of salt. But there are traditional salt farmers in Indonesia. Currently, salt farmers are waiting for good weather to produce salt again. Soon the weather here will return to normal, usually from mid-February to September. I plan to visit again at the end of February to see how the salt is made.
