At the end of this summer our ocean has been calm and beautiful. No waves, no seaweed. It’s a great blessing to be able to go there any time of the day even for a short time.
Although the purple flag keeps showing along with the green flag, it’s still nice. In the past I used to freak out of even hearing that there are jellyfish, but now I’m getting used to just watch carefully before stepping on the sand.
Check out how crystal clear is the water on this photo. It’s perfect for diving with a mask to watch sealife go by. One lady told me she saw a sting ray. Even a pelican landed on the water few feet away from me. I didn’t go to grab my camera because was afraid to scare it away.
This is the first time for me seeing the big jellyfish in the water not far from me. For this shot I went to get my camera.
I love pictures of the beach with all three elements on them, like here: sky, water, and sand.
Here I edited photo some to make the jellyfish more visible, it’s a bit hard to see, since it’s transparent.
Did you know that sea turtles eat jellyfish, and that they can mistakenly eat plastic bags floating in the water because they look like a jellyfish to them. Plastic in the ocean is big harm to sea creatures, I wish tourists could understand it and take more effort in not polluting our beautiful beaches.
Here is the jellyfish we saw on the shore. I was making shots when all of the sudden a little wave moved it closer to me making me jump away. Thankfully it went back in the ocean and didn’t die.
I like watching calm water, and listen to the ocean sounds. It calms my mind and gives me relaxation more than any spa could do. The nature knows what we need, right?
My friend the other day was taking sand and rubbing it against her face. I was a bit surprised. She said, she often does scrubbing like that right in the ocean, and her skin feels like a baby skin. I guess, I will try it too one day.
Would you try doing scrub in the ocean or is it too much?
And the last photo of this beautiful jellyfish. She went back to the ocean, so no worries.
I hope you enjoyed the photos.
