I love walking the streets at night, there are fewer people and the places have a different charm. But this is the first time I have taken pictures in this way under the moonlight.
Where I live now, at the moment the streets are safe, both during the day and at night, especially in tourist places.
So I decided to go out, walk around and capture certain beautiful parts of the city with my phone.
The colours of the street lights and the traffic lights reflecting back at me as I passed by.

I took a lot of shots, from different places. What I bring you today is the Plaza de la Merced and its imposing obelisk, but in a night version. It looks totally different, with magic all around.
The lights of the street lamps generated different reflections both on the ground and in the dark sky and I really liked that.
I'm not a professional photographer, it takes me a long way to get to that stage, but experiencing new things with the camera is very nice.

The lights illuminated the trees in a different way and the lion sculptures at one of the entrances to the square could be seen very clearly in all their details.
The moon accompanied me wherever I went.
The obelisk could be seen with that very radiant illumination flashing lights everywhere. It seemed that it was not night.

The contrast with the night sky makes, in my opinion, a very different and attractive type of photography, with an aura of mystery and at the same time elegance.
I really enjoyed the experience and practising these shots, so I will repeat the experience.
Above all, I was struck by the contrast of the lights with the darkness of the sky, a real marvel.
I hope you liked these shots I have taken. Thank you all for watching and reading this far. Best regards to all of you and see you next time.
Amonet.
