Canon R6 - Out of the box test
After a month of waiting finally got a call that the camera is here and i could come and pick it up. So a short trip to the city, getting annoyed by some traffic jams, got the camera and while i was there, decided to visit my sister. And there was a perfect subject for a quick photo and video test.

Canon R6 | Canon 35mm 1.8 | 1/200sec. | f/1.8 | 12.800 | off | non |
The room was lit with a chandelier with one standard bulb. So i would call it a low light test. I ended up on 12.800 ISO, a number that i am not sure my 80d even has, because i would never go that high. And i was suprised how good it looked on the screen of the camera. But will it look good on the big monitor?

So as i got home i was excited to transfer the files and check them out. I clicked the import button in Lightroom and clicked away to see what was new on Hive. Moments later importing was finished. Hmmm i know the sensor size is 20 megapixels, and files should not be that big, but that was fast. Yap, the camera was set to JPEG and i thought i switched it to RAW, but no.
So all these photos were taken in JPEG (well at least it was not small JPEG), and i was even more impressed with the results..

First impression on all the menu options, Canon R6 has shit ton of options more then my DSLR 80d, not sure is that on all mirrorless cameras or maybe it is just higher end camera? But just in the quick look, there is 10+ different things to adjust only in the Auto focus tab. I like the Canon menu system, but i will have to spend some time to go through all the options, test everything out and find the right settings for me.

After some clicking i managed to find where the Cat Eye Autofocus option is located, and it looks like it works well. The cat was not standing still and shooting on f/1.8, i am happy with the cat eye autofocus.

Just a quick first impression, and it was an opportunity to share some cat photos, and we all know, there is never enough of cat photos on the internet.
