That probably everyone already forgot it happened :D
@mipiano and @ph1102 maybe even forgot that they had a vacation :)
Last year we did a small Hive meetup in Serbia, in Novi Sad, PH loved organizing it so he did it again this year. They came to Serbia by plane this year so they were not that mobile and i already had a plan of going to Apatin to visit my friend living in Canada. And @duskobgd was also willing to drive from Belgrade, so a mini Hive meetup happened. Second in a row.
As someone who takes a lot of photos, i usually don't do it with small group of people (as seen on the first Hive meetup), or when on walks with "non photographers"

The teleport looks more spectacular at night with those round lights on, but still just one of really weird metal art pieces in Apatin. It has to be a teleport or a big elevator to the middle of the earth.
After a quick walk through the city center we continued to the Danube river. One of the things Apatin is most know by is Apatin brewary.

Liberland really does not have luck with boats. Two in the picture, one sunk and one burned. Not sure do they have another one for this year festival.
One of the reasons i don't like to take a lot of photos on walks, you are always behind or everyone is just waiting for you :D
not sure which one i like better.

After that we went for a ride to several places located on the old Danube path, now a lake. Now mostly used for fishing and rowing (no motor boats allowed).
And as i am uploading photos i see there is a theme here. Metal Art and Cats :D
We also visited a weekend settlement called Vagoni. Located on the confluence of old Danube path and current Danube path. So part of the settlement is on the old part
and part of it is on the current path
Ended the day with a drink in a bar next to the local beach. Successful meetup :)
I staid another day, with the idea to go for a row on the old part of the Danube, but we got there after a 2km walk in the middle of the day, and it was super hot. All the fishermen were going back from the water.
So after a beer and a drone flight, we decided to abort the idea.
But aborting the idea was not that bad, as we went back home and i won in Heroes of Might and Magic 3. And it was pretty spectacular win. Now i realized i didn't gloat enough and i should because me winning does not happen that often. Especially because i was sure i will lose :D
