Today I spent some time in the beautiful town of Brühl. Maybe some of you have heard of it – it’s where Phantasialand is located. I hope I’ll get the chance to go there again soon, but today’s trip was all about the palace. It’s incredibly hot today and I almost melted on the train ride there. But I wasn’t just out on a photo walk – today is also Pokémon Go Fest and people were very active :D
Still, I couldn’t miss the chance to admire the massive palace and its stunning garden – and, of course, take a few pics.
1. Church Tower
I randomly stumbled upon this church tower. Even though the sun was really harsh, I think I managed to capture a pretty cool photo here.
2. Opposite the Palace
You can already spot the palace in the background, but what really caught my eye was the statue. With the depth of field effect, the palace looks even more majestic behind it. Unfortunately, I don’t know what the statue represents, but hey – it looks awesome, right? :D
3. The Palace in Focus
Now you can see the palace properly. It’s a super popular wedding location, and for the small price of €13 you can even go inside. I decided to skip that today though :D
4. Opposite the Palace VOL. 2
Here I flipped the focus – now the statue is in the background and the palace takes center stage. The whole vibe of the photo changes, and the statue adds an almost majestic touch.
5. Reflection in the Water
I loved the reflection of the palace on the water – I just had to capture it. It’s such a great photo spot, and I totally understand why so many people want to take pics there. I actually saw six different wedding parties getting their photos taken in front of the palace – one after the other, every ten minutes or so.
6. Visitors
While I was quietly taking pictures of the palace, I was suddenly visited by two little feathered friends. They didn’t seem shy at all, so I took the opportunity to make them my models :D
All in all, today was a great success: I went for a walk in nature, took lots of photos, and even caught a few Pokémon. Definitely a 10/10 kind of day for me :D How was your day?
Heute war ich im wunderschönen Brühl unterwegs. Vielleicht kennt der ein oder andere von euch die Stadt, denn dort findet man das Phantasialand. Da werde ich hoffentlich auch demnächst nochmal hinfahren, aber heute war erst mal ein Besuch am Schloss dran. Es ist unglaublich heiß heute und ich bin schon fast geschmolzen in der Bahn. Allerdings war ich nicht nur auf Photo-Tour, sondern heute findet das Pokémon-Go Fest statt und die Leute sind da sehr aktiv :D
Trotzdem habe ich es mir natürlich nicht nehmen lassen das riesige Schloss und den dazugehörigen Garten zu bewundern und ein paar Schnappschüsse aufzunehmen.
1. Kirchturm
Hier sieht man einen Kirchturm, den ich zufällig gefunden habe. Auch wenn die Sonne steil stand, finde ich ist mir ein echt cooles Foto gelungen.
2. Gegenüber vom Schloss
Hier kann man das Schloss bereits erkennen, allerdings fand ich die Statue so cool und mit dem tiefenschärfe Effekt wirkt das Schloss noch imposanter im Hintergrund. Leider weiß ich nicht genau, was das für eine Statue ist, allerdings kann man nicht abstreiten, dass sie richtig cool aussieht :D
3. Das Schloss im Fokus
Hier kann man das Schloss nun richtig erkennen. Es ist ein sehr beliebter Ort zum Heiraten und für einen läppischen Preis von 13 Euro kann man es sogar besuchen. Das hab ich getrost ausgelassen heute :D
4. Gegenüber vom Schloss VOL. 2
Hier habe ich einmal die Statue im Vordergrund in den Hintergrund rücken lassen. Man sieht das Schloss in seiner vollen Pracht und die Statue gibt dem Bild einen erhabenen Touch. Der andere Effekt, lässt das Bild direkt ganz anders wirken.
5. Spiegelung im Wasser
Die Spiegelung des Schlosses hat mir richtig gut gefallen, die musste ich auch unbedingt einfangen. Es ist ein tolles Motiv, ich verstehe, wieso so viele Menschen sich davor fotografieren lassen. Ich habe tatsächlich sechs verschiedene Hochzeitsgesellschaften gesehen, die sich im 10 Minutentakt vor dem Schloss abblitzen haben lassen.
6. Besuch
Während ich in aller Ruhe Fotos vom Schloss machen wollte, wurde ich auf einmal von zwei kleinen gefiederten Wesen besucht. Sie wirkten alles andere als menschenscheu und somit konnte ich sie als Models benutzen :D
Heute war ein richtig erfolgreicher Tag, ich bin in der Natur spazieren gewesen, habe viel fotografiert und das ein oder andere Pokémon habe ich auch gefangen. In meiner Wertung eine 10/10 :D wie war euer Tag so?
