Hello there!
Long time, no see!
Its been over 6 months now since my last post in May. And only two others in the first half of 2023. What can I say to my excuse? Busy father and husband? Lack of time? Out of quality posting material? Or just being lazy? Probably it is a mix of all mentioned and more.
Some of you know, that I was not out of Hive completely, far from it. I was active daily. Doubt that I missed a day or two in that span. But I only did curation work. That is something I am more into lately. Unfortunately, I ran out of ideas for posting and also don’t have much of unpublished material anymore. But hey, I still have most of photos from my last travel that I didn’t share with you. I will try to do that in the following weeks or better say months.
I decided to write a post based on my decision, that I booked another travel. I still remember how I announced all my travel plans here in Hive back in the days. So why not to repeat it now and hopefully wake up from sleep with it as well.
So what do you think? Did I choose Africa, my beloved continent where most of my travels were recently and where I really fall in love with the nature? Or maybe South America which is a series where I have been only once, but might capture best photos up to date. Asia is always option since it offers so much. What is left? Europe, my home continent, which is quite undiscovered from my part, but is waiting for kids to grow a bit and we travel it together. Never been to Australia, but that would really put away great part of family budget, which is not realistic at that time, hopefully it will be once. What is missing? Ohhhh North America, for sure… Easy to travel, quite small budget, similar culture, and Luka Dončič.
So which one will it be? You guessed right, I am travelling to USA again! This time I choose destination where I haven’t been yet and is on a bucket list for many. This destination is…
New York! When? Soon! Very soon… At the beginning of February, for one week. Main reason for travel, the one any only Luka “Magic” Dončič. He is playing three games in four days in NY or vicinity. Two games are in NY, against Knicks in legendary Madison Square Garden and one is against the Nets. Third game will be in Philadelphia and is supposed to be a really good one with perfect opportunity to visit the city as well. Being in NYC for a week, gives me opportunity to visit Washington DC as well on a day trip so that is also in our plan. Ohhh can’t wait already. Hopefully I will take out my camera after a long time and manage to capture some new fresh shots! Kind of miss it a bit. I am not that much of a cityscape photography as I am more of a nature lover, but hey I am sure New York has plenty of good photography opportunites anyway.
Enough for today, let me share some of the best memories from my visits of all the above mentioned continents, sorry Australia, you will have to wait a bit 😊
