Repetition in photography is when the same element, like a shape, object, or pattern appears multiple times in a photo. This can create a pleasing visual pattern. – @friendlymoose
This description immediately made me think of a picture I took at work, in the pharmacy.
So this is my entry for The Friendlymoose Photocontest #FPC with the new topic "REPETITION".
What do we see here?
It is a large pack of small glass tubes that are used as packaging for magic sugar pearls.
Some people would call them globules and an alternative medicine.
Others are of the opinion that they only help against acute sugar deficiency and their effect does not go beyond the placebo effect.
For me, it was just a good motive on my hunt for structures – a very satisfying one. I personally stay away from the contents of these tubes, sugar can be bought cheaper elsewhere.
The almost infinite repetition of circles, the perfect geometric figure, in combination with the warm colour had a calming effect on me.
Perhaps it really is more than a placebo after all?
No! – Just calming pixels on a screen.
Comments are very welcome, but I'm not going to get into a discussion about alternative remedies – the one who cures is right!
All photos are taken with a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra camera by me,
@cryptozeug, unless otherwise stated. Polished with Affinity Photo, or not.
