Where is the Bow river you ask? Well it begins at the Bow glacier, which is approximately one hours drive from this point. Speaking of the Bow glacier, it is a fantastic hiking experience, and I would say even family friendly. Check it out if you ever find yourself travelling between Banff and Jasper Park. The river makes its way through Banff, all the way to Calgary, then beyond into Saskatchewan (an awkward name for a province, don’t you think? Try and pronounce it too…). The Bow river has been a source of fun for many a family over the years. Think kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and even photographers. Already looking forward to my next time crossing this bridge. What are your plans for this coming Summer?
