Here is a shout out to the Fallen. Fallen dead trees that is. In every ecosystem there is life, death, and regeneration. This is just how nature “rolls”. There is certainly beauty in every step of the process. If you have followed me for awhile, then you know that I love photographing fallen trees (living ones too, as you know). I wonder how long it takes for a fallen one to decompose in the water? After doing a quick bit of research, apparently a lot factors come into play like water temperature and type of tree (Oak trees apparently last the longest). The colder the water the longer they take to decompose. Ok, that’s your science lesson for today. Thanks for stopping by.
