The journey continues along the hiking trail from the paint pots. Feels like I’m walking on Mars, either that or someone spilled a lot of jello around here. Makes you wonder if there is much wildlife out and about here. Come to think of it, other than a bird or two, I did not encounter any other animals. Instinctually, wildlife probably stays clear of this area, but I’m just guessing. I did encounter a pair of hikers and their dog on the way back, fewer hikers is always better in my book.
