This is Athabasca Falls little brother, and it’s name is Sunwapta Falls, upper falls that is. Such a great viewpoint from up here, looking down on the falls. The Athabasca river winds its way through the tall curvy canyon walls, and then on to the lower falls and beyond. The upper falls experience can be captured in about 10-15 minutes. Quick and sweet. The lower falls adventure requires a longer timeframe. To properly do it, one should set aside about 90 minutes or so.
