Hello friends, how are you? How is life treating you? After a not so long time I have returned with some unnoticed photographs of a project of which I feel proud, it was an editorial made with my best friend for the Hyde One Magazine review, which at first was not for that purpose but I liked the result so much that were published in the review with a more fashion trend concept of what was that more adult style that teenagers are taking more currently, speaking clearly of the editorial term, are photos that were taken on the beaches of our hometown, Cumana and achieved a wonderful scope, I think so far has been my best work of photography, and I am happy to have achieved that goal of being published in the magazine, it was an idea both crazy, dangerous and innovative in the city, We decided to bring a more editorial result here so that people could see that photography goes beyond, fashion photography, one of the difficulties of this is the insecurity, the beaches here are beautiful yes, and huge but dangerous, So much so that actually the site we had planned could not be taken into account because there were suspicious people around, and we had to decide to make them elsewhere, is proof that although the planned approach was not achieved, was achieved with what was at hand, optimal results, these are some photographs of our results in the sea, a project we gave the name of "Ocean" I hope you like these shots📸❤️:
Hola amigos ¿qué tal están? ¿Como los trata la vida? Despues de un tiempo no tan largo he vuelto con algunas fotografías desapercibidas de un proyecto del cual siento orgullo, fue una editorial realizada con mi mejor amiga para la revisa de Hyde One Magazine, que en un principio no era para dicho objetivo pero gusto tanto el resultado que se publicaron en la revisa con un concepto mas de tendencia de moda de lo que era ese estilo más adulto que están tomando los adolescentes mas actualmente, hablando claro del termino editorial, son fotos que se tomaron en las playas de nuestra ciudad de origen, Cumaná y que lograron un alcance maravilloso, creo que hasta ahora ha sido mi mejor trabajo de fotografía, y me siento feliz de haber logrado esa meta de ser publicado en la revista, fue una idea tanto alocada, peligrosa e innovadora en la ciudad, ya que aca que es el oriente del país, no se suele ver este tipo de conceptos, para nada, nosotros si decidimos traer un resultado más editorial acá para que las personas pudieran ver que la fotografía va mas allá, la fotografía de moda, una de las dificultades de este es la inseguridad, las playas aca son hermosas si, y enormes pero peligrosas, tanto asi que realmente el sitio que habíamos planificado no se pudo tomar en cuenta porque habían personas sospechosas alrededor, y tuvimos que decidir hacerlas hacia otro lado, es prueba de que aunque no se logro el planteamiento planificado, se logro con lo que se tenía a mano, resultados óptimos, estas son algunas fotografías de nuestros resultados en el mar, un proyecto al dimos el nombre de “Ocean” espero les gusten estas tomas📸❤️:

Doing this type of pure editorial photographic work, is somewhat complicated, because in the end you do not know what the final result will be exactly, it is a bit unpredictable and more if you work with the sea, for example, the original idea was to convey calm but it was not so, by the turbulence of the waves, try to portray a scene of calm underwater with only the face out was one of the ideas we had, but as you can see it is almost impossible because of the waves, does not allow shots of this style, but if the sea was calm would have come out, it's something you have to calculate in advance but it's difficult to deduce, sometimes the time you think it will be calm, it turns out to be the opposite, but these are things that can happen, just like the breeze, it was stressful to control that, there were three factors, the sunlight, the breeze and the swell, the hair is difficult to control with so much breeze, when trying to place the hair in the right position, we achieved as a result a contra light, these are things that happened, then you must sacrifice either the light or the hair aesthetically speaking.
Hacer este tipo de trabajos fotográficos editoriales puros, es un tanto complicado, porque al final no sabes cual será el resultado final con exactitud, es un poco impredecible y mas si trabajas con el mar, por ejemplo, la idea original era transmitir calma pero no fue asi, por la turbulencia de las olas, intentar retratar una escena de calma debajo del agua con solo el rostro afuera era una de las ideas que teníamos, pero como pueden observar es casi imposible por el oleaje, no deja realizar tomas de este estilo, pero si el mar estuviese en calma habrían salido, es algo que toca calcular con anterioridad pero es difícil deducirlo, a veces la hora a la que crees que estará calmado, resulta que es lo contrario, pero son cosas que pueden pasar, igual que la brisa, si que fue estresante controlar eso, fueron tres factores, la luz del sol, la brisa y el oleaje, el cabello es difícil de controlar con tanta brisa, al intentar colocar el cabello en la posición adecuada, logramos como resultado un contra luz, son cosas que pasaban, entonces debes sacrificar o la luz o el cabello estéticamente hablando.
Sincerely my favorite shots are the ones where the model, who is my friend, is inside the sea, because it goes more with the concept of deep thinking about life that we were looking for, they reflect more what we wanted in these photos, because both she and I went through heavy moments of life in which we must defend ourselves alone in a big ocean, because life is not easy and even less here in this country that is somewhat very complicated, for various reasons, we put all our hearts in this project, because it is something more personal for both of us.
Sinceramente mis tomas favoritas son en las que la modelo que es mi amiga, esta dentro del mar, porque va mas con el concepto de pensamiento profundo sobre la vida que estábamos buscando, reflejan mas lo que queríamos en estas fotos, porque tanto ella como yo pasamos por momentos pesados de la vida en la que debemos defendernos solos en un gran océano, debido a que la vida no es fácil y menos acá en este país que es un tanto muy complicado, por diversas razones, pusimos todo nuestro corazón en este proyecto, porque es algo mas personal de ambos.
