After countless multiple-day hut treks in the European Alps, doing a tent trek felt like the next logical step. Since camping is rather restrictive in the Alps, we went for Norway and chose a 5-day (90km) trek through the Hardangervidda. The Hardangervidda is the biggest mountain plateau in Europe. The landscape is not overly diverse and consists mainly of mountains, rivers, and a lot of lakes.
I'll probably do several posts about this trip and for now, I'll start with our four campsites!
