After Mathias' last prank and the last few weeks which to tell the truth have been a bit heavy, today I wanted to de-stress a bit and of the things that help me to release so much stress, photography is one of my favorites. These last few days it has been raining and some new shoots have been coming out both on the trees and on the moss growing on some of the garden walls. Yesterday I was watching a series in which one of their scenes was monochromatic and in a certain part they highlighted the color of a single piece of the scene, it reminded me how much I like this kind of images, so my focus in the images I was looking for, was to find something worthy of being highlighted.
Moss although beautiful, damages concrete surfaces, and the truth is that doing this session I realized that I have a big problem on the walls of the garden hahaha, in some places there is in fact no longer moss, but some small ferns are growing and these small shoots of false rice fern, which were also on the floor of some plants and with much more size than there is on the walls, so before I get rid of this moss on the walls that is already sprouting some more developed plants I had to photograph them and capture that subtle beauty that can be found in them.
The small pine tree, which in the summer was on the verge of drying out completely, has begun to show new shoots of branches, which gives us hope, now we only have to transplant it to a fixed place in the garden, or perhaps to a bigger pot that will allow it to develop bigger and stronger roots. While that happens, I fall in love with each small and delicate sprout that in the future could be strong and leafy branches.
Small details that in a full color photograph could be overlooked or not shine as much as they should, and that when using the selective coloring technique certainly stand out a lot, even when their color is not as bright or vivid as others, and you can see that in the full color photographs of the three images that I shared at the beginning of the publication. The macro lens really helped me a lot to capture these minimal details that I share with you today, minimal details that we probably overlook on a daily basis.

Images owned by me, taken with the camera of my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S Edited and Snapseed and PicsArt.
