One of the things I love about my lemon tree is that it blooms and gives me fruit all year round, and in these times of Covid-19 I can say that this is a great blessing, considering the price of lemons. Besides loving its fruits, another thing I love is the scent with which the garden is impregnated when the tree begins to bloom, not in vain these flowers are also called orange blossoms. Highlighting the beauty of these tiny but beautiful flowers using the selective color technique is something I had not done before and I really loved the result I got,

Its tiny pistils exposed in a macro-photography, let us see how beautiful they are, and after allowing us to see their beauty, they will drop their petals to give way to the lemons that we will later enjoy in drinks and a number of recipes. These flowers are used both in the kitchen and in cosmetics because it has a large number of benefits and properties.

Infusions with orange blossom flowers, besides being delicious and very aromatic, are excellent to help digestive processes, have sedative and anti-inflammatory properties, so they are ideal for falling asleep and to mitigate headaches and migraines, besides being rich in vitamin C and are great for relieving sore throats and symptoms of the common flu. The essential oil made from these flowers can also be used as a substitute for the flowers themselves.

At first glance, when we see these little flowers with all the colors that surround it, we usually say that they are some little white flowers with yellow pistils without much grace, but when we highlight that simplicity with a black and white background, we can realize the full range of colors that offers us, we can observe different shades of colors such as green, lilac, pink, yellow, and this is one of the reasons why I love to use this technique.

Finding some small bees in these flowers is something I love, and although I am not always lucky enough to get a good picture of them doing their job, I try to at least get a good shot, and I think this time I touched with some luck, just imagining the taste of the honey they will produce with these flowers makes me hallucinate, because a honey with citrus flavors, is really delicious. Una de las cosas por las que amo mi árbol de limón, es porque florece y me da frutos durante todo el año, y en estos tiempos de Covid-19 puedo decir que es una gran bendición, teniendo en consideración el precio del limón. Además de amar sus frutos, otra cosa que amo es el olor del cual se impregna el jardín cuando el árbol comienza a florecer, no en vano estas flores son también llamadas flores de azahar. Resaltar la belleza de estas diminutas pero hermosas flores usando la técnica del color selectivo es algo que no había hecho antes y que realmente me encanto el resultado que obtuve,

Sus diminutos pistilos expuestos en una macrofotografía, deja ver lo hermosas que son, y que luego de permitirnos ver su hermosura, dejaran caer sus pétalos para dar paso a los limones que más adelante disfrutaremos en bebidas y un sin número de recetas. Estas flores son usadas tanto en la cocina como en la cosmética pues posee un gran número de beneficios y propiedades.

Las infusiones con flores de azahar, además de ser deliciosas y muy aromáticas, son excelente para ayudar los procesos digestivos, tienen propiedades sedantes y antiinflamatorias, por lo que son ideales para conciliar el sueño y para mitigar dolores de cabeza y migrañas, además de ser ricas en vitamina C y son geniales para aliviar dolores de garganta y los síntomas de la gripe común. El aceite esencial hecho a base de estas flores también puede utilizarse como sustituto de las flores en sí.

A simple vista, cuando vemos estas pequeñas flores con todos los colores que la rodean, por lo general decimos que son unas florecitas blancas con pistilos amarillos sin mucha gracia, pero cuando resaltamos esa simpleza con un fondo en blanco y negro, podemos darnos cuenta de toda la gama de colores que nos ofrece, podemos observar diferentes tonos de colores como el verde, lila, rosa, amarillo, y es esta una de las razones por las que amo usar esta técnica.

Encontrarme algunas pequeñas abejas en estas flores es algo que amo, y aunque no siempre tengo la suerte de obtener una buena fotografía de ellas haciendo su labor, trato de al menos hacer una buena toma, y creo que esta vez toque con algo de suerte, solo de imaginar el sabor de la miel que producirán con estas flores me hace alucinar, pues una miel con sabores cítricos, es realmente deliciosa.
