The rains are here or at least that's what many believe, according to the experts (the old people who work the fields), a good dry season is expected, leaving aside I am trying not to think about the hot season that may await us in the coming months, I sat down to look for old unedited photographs I had on my pc, these are from June 2021, and the truth is that I do not know why I had not played with editing them before, since they contain something that I love to play with in editing, flowers and vibrant colors. These are mirasoles, they haven't been seen in my garden for a while, and they are from when I was just starting to take pictures with my Nikon, so the quality of these is not the best, however, they are much better than the ones I used to take a few years ago. To be able to capture a pollinating wasp was quite a feat in those days, and to tell the truth it would have been a perfect macro shot, but in those days I had no idea how to take those shots with the camera, which at that time was something new to me.
Today, taking a walk through those old photographs, I realize that, although I still have a lot to learn, I have been improving little by little, and I know that I will continue to do so, both with editing and with the actual taking of photographs. I need some tools to improve, others I already have, but I have not learned to use them, I must confess that the lack of time does not allow me to advance as much in photography as I would like, so I make the most of the opportunities that come my way. Probably some of you who read me love photography as much as I do, but do not have the necessary tools to make this the best experience, I tell you that I have seen some users here in Hive doing wonders with the camera of their cell phones, which makes me think that it is not the equipment that makes you an excellent photographer, it is the photographer who can make the most of his equipment.
Changing the subject a little bit, I love how these simple little country flowers look with selective coloring, certainly in full color they look beautiful, but highlighting the beauty of their vibrant yellow color, is something really majestic. In one of these photographs, I wanted to apply the technique of blur and double exposure, this makes us highlight only a part of the photograph and the rest of it is blurred or out of focus, with the camera we can achieve it, working with the focus, however, for these photographs I did not know anything about it, this technique takes a lot of work, but the result is well worth the effort.

Llegaron las lluvias o al menos eso creen muchos, pues según los expertos (los ancianos que trabajan el campo), se espera una buena temporada de sequía, dejando de lado estoy tratando de no pensar en la época de calor que nos puede esperar en los próximos meses, me he sentado a buscar viejas fotografías sin editar que tenía en mi pc, estas son de junio de 2021, y la verdad es que no sé porque no había jugado antes con la edición en ellas, siendo que contienen algo con lo que amo jugar en edición, flores y colores vibrantes. Estas son mirasoles, hace rato que no se ven en mi jardín, y son de cuando apenas comenzaba a tomar fotografías con mi Nikon, así que la calidad de estas no es la mejor, sin embargo, están mucho mejor de las que solía tomar unos años atrás. Poder capturar además una avispa polinizando era toda una proeza en esos días, y a decir verdad fuera quedado perfecta una macrofotografía, pero para esos días no tenía idea de cómo hacer esas tomas con la cámara, que para ese entonces era algo nuevo para mí.
Hoy dándome un paseo por esas viejas fotografías, me doy cuenta de que, aunque todavía me falta mucho por aprender, he ido mejorando poco a poco, y sé que lo continuare haciendo, tanto con la edición como con las tomas de fotografías en sí. Me hacen falta algunos instrumentos para mejorar, otros tanto los tengo ya, pero no los he aprendido a utilizar, debo confesar que la falta de tiempo no me deja avanzar tanto en la fotografía como deseara, así que aprovecho al máximo las oportunidades que se me presentan. Probablemente algunos de los que me leen aman tanto como yo la fotografía, pero no cuentan con las herramientas necesarias para hacer de esta la mejor experiencia, les cuento que he visto algunos usuarios aquí en Hive haciendo maravillas con la cámara de sus celulares, lo cual me hace pensar, que, no es el equipo lo que te hace un excelente fotógrafo, es el fotógrafo, el que puede sacar provecho al máximo de su equipo.
