Sunday is a day of rest, or so they say, but here, rest really comes in short bursts, because we work from Monday to Monday. This week, I had the opportunity to visit my cousin, whose wife has just given birth to a beautiful little princess. If you ask me, I only saw her from a distance; I didn't want to hold her in my arms, because when they are small, they are so delicate, their immune systems are just getting stronger, So I don't participate in carrying a newborn as if it were a doll. Instead, I took advantage of the afternoon to take some photos of the garden at the house. As a lover of flowers, I enjoyed myself a little, and as a lover of photography, I knew that later I could play around with them a bit.

One of the most difficult things about using the selective color technique, for me, will always be the small details, such as pistils in some flowers, antennae on insects, and things like that, because even when working with a stylus, we cannot always zoom in enough to cover these details.

Although the photographs were taken on Wednesday, today was the first time I had the opportunity to relax by playing with them, which is always a good way to distract my mind. Before applying selective coloring, I adjusted the brightness and shadows of the photographs a little, because in some of them, the natural sunlight, due to the time of day, was not the best. This way, I was able to better highlight the natural colors of the flowers, which, when it comes down to it, are the stars of my photographs.
Two for one, I found this grasshopper on a white rose, which when placed against a dark background looks more like a cream color. This type of effect usually occurs when we tone down the colors that clash with the subject we want to highlight. However, even with this variation, it is still beautiful, and the companion suits it well.
When I got home, I found some achiote flowers scattered on the floor. They are so delicate in both appearance and substance, and they wilt very quickly when they fall from the tree. That bouquet of pistils with traces of yellow at the base makes them look even more beautiful.

Domingo de descanso, o al menos eso dicen por ahí, aquí realmente el descanso se toma de a ratitos, pues, se trabaja de lunes a lunes, esta semana tuve la oportunidad de visitar a mi primo, pues su esposa acaba de dar a luz a una hermosa princesita, si me lo preguntan, solo la vi de lejos, no quise tomarla en mis brazos, pues cuando están pequeños son tan delicados, su sistema inmunológico apenas se está fortaleciendo, así que no soy partícipe de cargar a un recién nacido como si de una muñeca se tratara, en lugar de eso, aproveche la tarde para tomar algunas fotos del jardín de la casa, como buena amante de las flores, me deleite un poco, y como buena amante de las fotografías, sabía que más adelante podría jugar un poco con ellas.

Una de las cosas más difíciles de utilizar la técnica de color selectivo, para mí, siempre serán los pequeños detalles, pistilos en algunas flores, antenas en insectos y cosas por el estilo, pues, aunque se trabaje con un lápiz óptico, no siempre podemos ampliar lo suficiente, las imágenes para cubrir estos detalles.

Aunque las fotografías fueron tomadas el miércoles, hoy fue que logre sacar el tiempo para desestresarme jugando con ellas, siempre es una buena opción para distraer mi mente. Previo a aplicar el coloreado selectivo, Ajuste un poco el brillo y las sobras de las fotografías, pues en algunas de estas, la luz natural del sol, por la hora, no era la mejor, de esta manera me encargue de resaltar de mejor manera, los colores naturales de las flores, que, a la hora de la verdad, son las protagonistas de mis fotografías.
Dos por uno me encontré con este saltamontes en una rosa blanca, que cuando la colocamos con el fondo oscuro, se ve más como un color crema, este tipo de efectos suele suceder cuando apagamos los colores que hacen ruido en el entorno a lo que resaltamos; sin embargo, y aun con esa variante, no deja de ser hermosa, además el acompañante le va bien.
Y al llegar a casa me encontré con algunas flores de Achiote tiradas por el suelo, son tan delicadas tanto en apariencia como en sustancia, realmente se marchitan muy rápido cuando caen del árbol, y ese ramillete de pistilos con el vestigio de amarillo en la base, las hace ver aún más hermosas.
