Hello friends, I hope you all are doing well. Due to a lot of studying and busy schedules, I havenât been able to write for a while. But today, I am back to share my recent trip, which Iâm sure youâll enjoy. Last Sunday, when we had a holiday in the hostel, my friend Shoaib, who is from my village and is also my roommate at the hostel, and I decided to visit Daman-e-Koh. Daman-e-Koh is one of the beautiful spots in Islamabad, and I had heard so much about its beauty.
Early in the morning, we had breakfast and set off toward Daman-e-Koh on Shoaibâs motorcycle. The weather was very cold, and the strong winds made it a little difficult to control the motorcycle at times. The journey from Islamabad to Daman-e-Koh takes about forty minutes. Along the way, we saw lush green hills and scenic views, but we also encountered some drug-addicts along the way who gave a strange mix of calm and fear with their presence.

Upon reaching Daman-e-Koh, we were greeted by a breathtaking view of Islamabad city. The spot is located amidst the Margalla Hills, around 2400 feet above sea level. From there, we had a panoramic view of the entire city, which was truly mesmerizing and peaceful.
The monkeys there were a bit of a nuisance, but we had some fun with them too. Monkeys are common in the area, and they provide an interesting sight for tourists.
We spent some time there, took pictures, and enjoyed the beauty of nature. It was a memorable experience, and I would recommend everyone to visit Daman-e-Koh if they ever get the chance.
A Visit to Centaurus Mall and wonderd đ€©
After exploring Daman-e-Koh, we decided to head back, but on the way, we thought, why not visit Centaurus Mall as well? Itâs a famous shopping mall in Islamabad, and I had heard a lot about its grandeur and size.
We changed direction and headed toward Centaurus. The journey from Daman-e-Koh to Centaurus Mall took about 30 to 40 minutes. When we arrived at the mallâs gate, we had to pay 50 rupees for parking.
To enter, we found out that one door was reserved for families, so we decided to use the other entrance, where the entry fee was 300 rupees. As soon as we stepped inside, it felt like we had entered a whole new world. The mallâs size and beauty were vibrant and definitely worth seeing.

Inside Centaurus Mall, there were people from various countries, and a variety of shops. At one clothing store, I spotted a Nike jacket. When I asked about the price, the salesman said âno,â which I understood as 900 rupees, so I happily tried on the jacket. But when it came time to pay, I was shocked to find out the jacket cost 19,000 rupees. Disappointed, I returned the jacket, as we didnât have that much money.
After this experience, we realized that Centaurus Mall might be more suitable for wealthier people. Without wasting any more time, we decided to head back to the hostel. On the way, we talked about the dayâs trip and experiences, and once we got back to the hostel, we relaxed.
