Hello Photography Lovers,
Today is a different type of post. I'm proud to share my photos using the Canon Kiss X8i. Note that I have only used this camera for a week, so bear with me. No editing will be done so you guys can give me some tips.
Grey Heron
It was surprising to find this grey heron sitting in a river in the middle of Kyoto until I found the guy feeding him. 😄 It's not often you see them in the middle of the city. I've seen grey herons all around the Pacific, but mostly in the wild.
I liked this photo but didn't see how well it turned out on the little display on the Canon. City life is not something any bird can endure, as evident in the photos below.

The photo on the right shows the unhealthy beak of the grey heron. In general, the photo on the left shows that it's not very healthy. I'm not a biologist, but I think you don't need to be to see that. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Beautiful reflections as well. There’s something about capturing live birds, or any animals in general, that I can't explain in words. But if you can relate, I'm sure you will understand what I mean.
I'm only borrowing this camera, but I had so much fun with it that I think getting a proper camera is now on my bucket list. It's so different from taking photos with a phone.
If you are bored of the grey heron, here are some crows for a change. They were very chill and did not move when I came two metres from them, probably digesting the bread the local Japanese gave them.😀
I hope you enjoyed this little blog. Please give me some tips on how I can improve these photos.
Paul
