This time a year ago we were getting ready to go to Tunisia, mentally, I can't imagine I would have started actually packing or anything like that, how is to possible that almost a year later I still haven't managed to get thru all the photos, I know that selected and editing and whatnot takes time but 12 months is slightly ridicilous. A baby would have turned up quicker than that.
So anyway here are maybe, hopefully the last three photos from Tunisia, which is an amazing place by the way, and maybe that's why it's taking so long, I just don't want to let it go.
All three of these shots were taken on the same day, the first two both in a village called Ksar Hadada which was where we had lunch, it was part actual village, part tourist attraction, I guess not that much different to an old town in an European city.
But of course this doesn't look like Europe, no this feels more Berber, because it is and there is something adventurous even when it's just petrol cans on a ledge.
Or a waves of the buildings against the unrelenting blue sky of summer
And this three shot, well that was after lunch, in another village called Chenini, and this was a white mosque on the top of a large hill which we did in fact climb, and it was in fact 40 something degrees, and we did find our guide later sitting in a shade of a euculpypt tree drinking tea, smart man.
