How do you come back from holidays and 50% of the shots on your memory card are sunsets, don't you know that there is do way that you can capture the beauty of it on 'film'
Don't you know that most of the experience is the heat on you face, the feeling of another day ending, the possibility of what is to come that night, the smell of the beach, the salt in the air.
Haven't you looking at million photos on photo sharing website, don't you know that sunset shots are the sugar hit of the internet, entry level bullshit for landscape photographer, what the black and white shot of the homeless person is to the street photographer, you can do better.
I mean what did you do, you pointed a machine that someone else designed at the work of nature, something that would happen regardless of your presence, sure you picked just the right settings, but lord, it's not that hard, you learnt the trick of this way back in the film days, underexpose and turn of auto white balance, hardly Bresson levels of genius there.
But you know that they are pretty, and you want to see them again, and maybe just maybe someone will see the photo think, Darwin, that looks nice, and start looking for flights.
