This is the Len Lye Centre, often nicknamed the "Len Lye Gallery" and I think we all agree it's friggin awesome. It looks like it from the future but it exist right now in New Plymouth, in fact it's existed from 2015 when it was built. It’s the first museum in New Zealand devoted exclusively to a single artist, obviously Len Lye. and its wavy, mirror-like stainless steel façade is a real showstopper, impossible to miss as it reflects the Taranaki sky and city streets.
We got lucky the day we are where, blue skies, a few clouds and as you can see in the reflections, this ain't like much else in New Plymouth.
