Hace unos pocos días tuve la oportunidad de apreciar el histórico Molino Tundama iluminado, una joya arquitectónica de la ciudad de Duitama, Boyacá, Colombia. Dicen que pasó varias décadas sin encender las luces. Esto se realizo como parte del cierre de un evento cultural que organiza la ciudad todos los años (Semana Internacional de la Cultural Bolivariana y los Países Hermanos), rindiendo honor al Libertador Simón Bolivar y a todas las fechas históricas que acontecieron en estas tierras, realzando, además, todos los símbolos patrios. El planteamiento surgió como una remembranza de lo que fue el Molino Tundama en el año 1924. Me impresionó muchísimo porque al llegar al lugar hicieron una especie de performance, colocaron sonidos alusivos a la fábrica y a toda su maquinaria, mostraba toda la algarabía que eso conllevaba. Además, no se como lo hicieron, salía humo por la chimenea. Sorprendente. El tiempo que llevo en esta ciudad jamás percibí algo así en este lugar. Por tal evento que hicieron, deduzco que fue esta edificación fue muy relevante para la ciudad, incluyendo toda el bienestar económico que aportaba a la ciudad.
