I've never brought my macro lenses at the beach but now I've thought about it, it actually is a good idea. So recently I was able to take photos of some random stuff at the beach.
First of all, we went to a beach that's government-protected so only limited amount of visitors are allowed so you can imagine the water is clear AF. I found this starfish (they have a lot of them in specific areas) and was able to take photo this close. You can see how clear the water is since all you can see are the reflection caused by the waves.
I don't know what's that white thing tho. T_T Saw some kids took out a starfish from the water before this but not sure if this was it so dunno.
I went as close as possible and now they look like teeth. :D
I was kinda excited to see some shells with living stuff in it but they were hard to find so I only found empty ones. :P
Ariel's bra. :D
The water made a cool blooming effect.
Dunno what these two are doing. :D
Ya, they are still under the water and my lens is above it yet I still got this clear of a photo. :D
Dead sea urchin.
This one is still alive. :D
There were live sea urchins being sold there too and you can eat it fresh with vinegar. I've tried it for the first time and didn't expect it to be good.
Lastly, while walking back to the boat, this fish swam and froze beside my feet lol. It was trying to hide I guess. Not to my macro lens boi! XD
Nice try but the clear water is not on your side. :D
