Greetings friends of Photography Lovers, welcome to my blog. Today I share with you a type of photography that has always caught my attention and that I had the opportunity to do on my visit to Manare, a beach with little waves, beautiful turquoise waters and located in the Mochima National Park, Sucre State.
This beach has the particularity of having an extraordinarily crystalline color on the shore, so I could sit calmly and achieve several quite incredible catches in my opinion. The sun was shining so bright that I took all the pictures blind, the rays were so intense that they prevented me from seeing what I was doing. It was impossible to see how I was focusing on my target, which was none other than my Hive bracelet. My phone was not helping me at all because it had a screen that does not offer good lighting outdoors. Therefore, I was forced to view the results in the shade.
I am not a professional photographer and I don't have a camera with great features, I only have a 13 mp camera, my Xiaomi Redmi 9. The results of the captures pleased me and impressed me a lot, the way the bracelet was reflected in the water combined with the small turbulence that was generated on the shore, it was really a plus. The crystal clear water looked beautiful around the arm where I wore my Hive bracelet, it gave the illusion of having precious stones everywhere, like diamonds that were drawn in the delicate and tenuous mass of totally crystalline water.
In addition, the different shapes the bracelet took as I dipped it into the water were marvelous. Sometimes it looked bent, in other captures it seemed to vanish, while in some of the photographs it was possible to see certain letters that form the word Hive protrude, as if they were larger in size compared to the rest. In addition to these incredible shapes, there were beautiful flashes of light from the sun's rays. I confess that these last ones are my favorites.
How was this possible? It is not a simple optical illusion, it is physics, it is a process called refraction, in which objects look deformed or with certain distortion when submerged in water. These are changes that we do not perceive with the naked eye, but that do occur during the passage of light from one medium to another. It is quite an interesting phenomenon and somewhat complex in its theoretical basis to explain it.
This has been my first experience in taking pictures where water was the protagonist of the refraction process and it was precisely in my Hive bracelet. I was very pleased with the results obtained despite the fact that I did the photographic work practically blind. What do you think, did you like these pictures?.

Saludos amigos de Photography Lovers, bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy les comparto un tipo de fotografía que siempre ha llamado mi atención y que tuve la oportunidad de hacer en mi visita a Manare, una playa de poco oleaje, de hermosas aguas color turquesa y que se encuentra ubicada en el Parque Nacional Mochima, Estado Sucre.
Está playa tiene la particularidad de tener un color extraordinariamente cristalino en la orilla, así que pude sentarme con calma y lograr varías capturas bastante increíbles a mi parecer. El sol estaba radiante, tanto, que tomé todas las fotografías a ciegas, los rayos eran tan intensos que me impedían ver lo que estaba haciendo. Era imposible observar cómo estaba enfocando mi objetivo, que no era otro que mi brazalete de Hive. Mi teléfono no me ayudaba en lo absoluto por tener una pantalla que no ofrece buena iluminación en exteriores. Por lo tanto, estaba obligada a ver los resultados en la sombra.
No soy fotógrafa profesional y tampoco poseo una cámara de grandes prestaciones, apenas poseo una de 13 mp, la de mi teléfono Xiaomi Redmi 9. Los resultados de las capturas me gustaron y me impresionaron mucho, la manera como se reflejaba el brazalete en el agua aunado a la pequeña turbulencia que se generaba en la orilla, realmente fue todo un plus. El agua cristalina se veía preciosa alrededor del brazo donde yo lucía mi brazalete de Hive, daba la ilusión de tener por todos lados piedras preciosas, como diamantes que se dibujaban en la delicada y tenue masa de agua totalmente cristalina.
Además, las distintas formas que tomaba el brazalete mientras yo lo sumergía en el agua eran maravillosas. En ocasiones se veía doblado, en otras capturas parecía desvanecerse, mientras que en algunas de las fotografías era posible ver ciertas letras que forman la palabra Hive sobresalir, como si fueran de mayor tamaño en comparación al resto. A estas increíbles formas se sumaron unos hermosos destellos de luz producto de los rayos del sol. Les confieso que éstas últimas son mis favoritas.
¿Cómo fue posible esto? No es una simple ilusión óptica, es física, se trata de un proceso llamado refracción, en el cuál los objetos se ven deformes o con cierta distorsión cuando se sumergen en el agua. Son cambios que no percibimos a simple vista, pero que si ocurren durante el paso de la luz de un medio a otro. Es un fenómeno bastante interesante y algo complejo en sus bases teóricas para explicarlo.
Esta ha sido mi primera experiencia en la toma de fotografías donde el agua fue la protagonista del proceso de refracción y fue justamente en mi brazalete de Hive. Me sentí muy conforme con los resultados obtenidos pese a que hice el trabajo fotográfico prácticamente a ciegas. ¿Qué opinan ustedes?. ¿Les gustaron estás capturas?.
