afternoon in Aceh, Indonesia. Rice is the staple food of the population for several countries, Indonesia is among them. So do not be surprised if many people work as farmers. Having rice fields and growing crops is something that is often encountered in Indonesia, and lastly I saw that Indonesia was in 3rd place as the country with the most rice consumption
This was my first time to the rice fields after almost 2 months of never going with my mom and dad again. Yesterday afternoon I was ordered by my father to pick up my mother in the fields because my mother's motorbike was damaged so couldn't go home.
because the rice fields were some distance away, I immediately rushed to leave as soon as I was told, afraid that my mother would be waiting alone for a long time.
when I got there it turned out that my mother had not finished with her work and I had to wait for about 2 or 3 hours.
Tired of waiting, I took the initiative to take pictures of what people were doing.
I also took pictures of some of the fruit growing around the rice fields.
like guava, this fruit is delicious when made into juice
there is also a vegetable starfruit, this fruit is often used for cooking, usually spicy and sour fish dishes.
this is the most phenomenal fruit in my childhood. we named it "siglong-glong" fruit or forest passion fruit. This plant lives by spreading and attaching to other plants.
it really tastes like passion fruit in general, only the size is very small, only the size of a fingertip.
When I was going home, I picked 1 ripe and yellow cocoa fruit. this fruit can only be smoked like candy can not be eaten seeds.
