Last trip before enlistment
Somehow, I got to the moment when I was about to enlist.
I still had no desire to become a soldier.
I didn't know until now about the amazing things I will experience in the future.
Since we arrived on Jeju Island, we have to eat first!
I heard there is a grilled fish restaurant near the airport, so I went for lunch.
The big, springy fish was really delicious and, thanks to the colourful side dishes, there was no time to get bored until we finished eating.
Also, 100% intention to visit again if I go to Jeju Island.
I went to Yongduam Rock as my first stop.
Yongduam Rock is the closest tourist spot to the airport and is a popular tourist destination for foreign travellers and group travellers.
It was named Yongduam because it resembles the shape of a roaring dragon rising from the sea.
According to legend, a dragon that lived in Yongyeon, a nearby valley, tried to ascend to heaven and turned to stone.
I visited Jeju Island after almost 3 years.
This time it felt right, but Jeju Island has its own exotic and unique personality that is not found inland.
I don't get too excited when I go on a domestic trip, but I think I was a little excited when I arrived, although not as excited as when I went on a trip abroad.
There was an E-Mart on the way to the next place, so I bought food and necessary items at the accommodation.
Then we went to Sangumburi .
Sangumburi is a crater designated as Natural Monument No. 263 by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.
Gumburi' is the Jeju dialect for a volcanic crater.
It is one of the parasitic volcanoes of Mt. Halla and, unlike the others, has a large crater.
The entrance fee is reasonable at 6,000 won for adults.
Perhaps because it is not famous, there were few tourists when I went, so I was able to fully enjoy it as if I had rented it all.
Sangumburi seems to be one of the most Jeju-like places.
When I travel, I schedule the first and last day as flexibly as possible due to travel time.
Before going to the accommodation and dinner, I went to Saryeoni Forest Road as the last stop of the first day.
It is a forest road with thick cedar trees starting from Bijarim Road and passing through Mulchat Parasitic Cone and Saryeoni Oreum.
It was called Saryeoni Forest Trail because it is a forest trail leading to Saryeoni Oreum.
In 2002, it was designated as a Jeju Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
There are so many roads and they are so complicated that I got lost on the way out.
It would be a good idea to plan a route in advance by turning on the navigation system.
