Hello Photo lovers! Although as photographers we have a plan of what we want to achieve, there are times when the models also have clear ideas of photos they want to be taken, for some reason, either to expand their book or because they saw it on Instagram and thought it was cool. I particularly like that they contribute during the sessions, beyond their poses. After all, for me, photography is a way to have fun and I like to be surprised.
Such is the case of Yoselin who came to a forest dressed in a suit.

Aunque como fotógrafos tengamos un plan de lo que queremos lograr, hay veces que los modelos también tienen las ideas claras de fotos que quieren que se les haga, por alguna razón, ya sea para ampliar su book, o porque lo vieron en instagram y les pareció cool. Particularmente me gusta que aporten durante las sesiones, más allá de sus poses. Al fin y al cabo, para mí la fotografía es un modo de divertirme y me gusta que me sorprendan.
Tal es el caso de Yoselin que venía a un bosque vestida de traje.
Yoselin wanted to have "sexy executive" type photos and for that she was prepared. We talked a bit about the wardrobe, and we commented that she should wear heels!!! but well, the effort was made and at the moment we could not find anyone nearby to lend them, so why punish us with something that at that time had no solution? So we made the photos.
Yoselin quería tener fotos tipo "ejecutiva sexy" y para ello iba equipada. Sobre el vestuario conversamos un poco, y comentamos que debía llevar tacones!! pero bueno, el esfuerzo estaba hecho y de momento no logramos encontrar a nadie cerca que se los prestara, así que para qué castigarnos con algo que en ese momento no tenía solución? Así que hicimos las fotos.
Being in a green environment and so full of textures, she was almost lost in the landscape despite her red hair and outfit, so then I decided to play already during editing; with less saturated shades of green to accentuate the contrast with her hair, but not to steal the limelight, and also to enhance a little close tones in the color wheel from slight variations in the background to achieve greater harmony.

Al estar en un entorno verde y tan cargado de texturas, ella casi se me perdía en el paisaje a pesar de su pelo rojo y el outfit, así que luego decidí jugar ya durante la edición; con tonos de verdes menos saturados para acentuar el contraste con su pelo, pero que no le robaran el protagonismo, y además potenciar un poco tonos próximos en la rueda de color a partir de ligeras variaciones en el fondo par lograr una mayor armonía.

As always I convert some images to black and white, simply because I love it, but I still think that in this occasion it came very well and gave a more serious look.
Como siempre convierto algunas imágenes en blanco y negro, sencillamente porque me encanta, pero igual creo que en esta ocasión venía muy bien y le daba un aspecto más serio.
We don't always have everything at our disposal to do the job, neither as photographers nor as models. Even more so in our country, where the question is not whether or not we have the money, but simply that there is nowhere to buy it, but if for some small obstacle we get discouraged, what is left when we are presented with much more serious situations in life?

No siempre tenemos todo a disposición para hacer el trabajo, ni como fotógrafos, ni l@s modelos. Más en nuestro país, donde la cuestión no está en tener o no el dinero, sino que sencillamente no hay donde comprarlo, pero si nos amilanamos ante algún pequeño bache, qué queda entonces cuando se nos presentan situaciones mucho más serias de la vida?
Ante todo, mantengamos una actitud positiva.
