Earlier this year, in February, to be precise, I was on a farm in Invercargill for a cell site Backhaul upgrade. The site is located on a farm wheat farm where the farmer had agreed we could access the cell site but without driving there.
Farmers are the boss, and for our own good, we better comply! So I did a lot of prep work from my vehicle and carried my components to install with tools and laptop through the wheat farm that has grown taller than my knees and about 500-600 meters walk from where I parked my vehicle.
Damn I forgot a tool 🔧 🤦 in my ute and had to go get it. To be honest, I forgot tools twice and did the walk 6 times. It wasn't fun!
But I couldn't help but still admire my surroundings as I was also surrounded by throns. There was some beautiful stuff to still photograph.
Even in the midst of a tough, difficult day, there are sometimes beautiful things to photograph 📸
