Becoming a good photographer requires experience and skill. And for that to happen, one must always be shooting photographs to log in the necessary man-hours in using the camera and developing that photographer's eye for a good shot.
This collection of photos were taken a few years ago when I was still learning how a camera works vis-à-vis the photography triad of ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. Life has since overtaken my passion for photography but the photos remain. Here are a few that I've taken from 2017.
1. Studious Girl at the Foodcourt.

2. Coffee Cup on the Display Glass.

3.Furry Dog Wants to Sleep on the Bed.

4. Toy Car.

5. Monochrome Lens Cap

It's interesting to go back and take a look at how I viewed subjects in relation to the composition and editing that I envisioned doing on a photo editing software. Sometimes, I get lucky and the photo turns out the way I intended it to be, while most of the time, I get stuck trying to get the perfect angle and perspective.
Most of the time, I'm just trying to steady my hands to get a clearer photo of the subject while trying to figure out the depth of field in my head. It's all really confusing. With the "shooting from the hip" experiment project that I did, the aim was to get really comfortable with a camera in my hand and seeing a photograph with my eyes.
This went on for a few weeks but life had other things to offer. At the end of it all, I just look at the raw image files of the photos I took and smile every once in a while when I find a gem - maybe one out of hundreds. Honestly, I enjoyed the experience and that's what really matters the most: to enjoy whatever life throws at you and emerge from it smiling whatever the outcome.
That's it for this throwback collection of random photos!
Love and peace!
