Hey Everyone!!
There’s something undeniably magical about early mornings—when the world is still waking up, and the chaos of the day hasn’t yet set in. Today was one of those mornings. The cold breeze blanketed everything in a quiet calm, and the sky wore a soft glow of dawn. I woke up earlier than usual and, inspired by the peaceful vibe, decided to go on a long drive.
With almost no vehicles on the road, the silence was therapeutic. There was no honking, no rush—just the open road, fresh air, and nature speaking in whispers. I headed toward one of the most iconic water bodies of our state—the mighty Gomti River.
The Gomti flows across our state, sustaining life and livelihoods as it journeys onward. A few kilometers downstream lies a dam that regulates the river’s flow, giving a sense of human harmony with nature’s force. I drove along the riverbank, crossing flyovers and catching stunning views of the gentle current glistening under the sky.
I wasn’t alone—I had one of my closest friends with me. We cruised about 20 kilometers, soaking in the calm scenery and the crisp morning air. The road seemed endless, unfolding new turns and unfamiliar paths, each one more peaceful than the last.
We finally stopped at a scenic viewpoint to admire the wide river flowing steadily and silently beneath the rising sun. The moment felt timeless. No rush. No stress. Just nature, friendship, and inner peace.
After enjoying the scenery and capturing a few pictures, we decided to head back home. The drive back was just as peaceful, and my heart felt lighter.
This simple drive reminded me how healing nature can be and how important it is to take a break from our fast-paced lives. Sometimes, all you need is an open road, a good friend, and the sound of a flowing river to feel refreshed.
