When I go to work by bicycle, I’ve always passed by this field many times before. There are lots of white blooms in the fields that catch my attention.
But last Monday it was different. I finished my work early and I didn't have plans after it. I just went cycling and the weather was beautiful.
Monday afternoon, the sun was shining brilliantly and the warm glow casting on the roadside. I stop and get my mobile to capture the beauty that I'd admire. It was the perfect moment to stop and take a closer look at the white field.
I posted it before in my snaps, I was curious and Google it. It is called a wild carrot or Queen Anne’s Lace. It doesn’t look wild or even a carrot. It's so unique, like it was beautifully swaying lightly in the breeze.
From afar, it looked like a soft white mist covered the grass. But as I looked closer, the wild carrot revealed its own delicate pattern. Wild carrot flowers were at different stages, some were in full bloom and the detailed seed pods caught my eye. It was a beautiful flower.
I was alone on the field. standing there and just the hum of the insects and whisper of leaves.
From unknown to curiosity of what flowers it was. I'm happy that I saw you, a new piece of information that was so beautiful.
I felt at peace being alone even though the sun was strong but thanks to the wind.
Sometimes it's ok to be alone and that makes me feel happy inside of my soul. Finding peace in nature is a gift to myself. It's helping me to recharge from days of work, reconnect with nature and find peace.
Have a wonderful day everyone!.
