Sickle moon is another nickname of this moon phase. It's as beautiful as the full moon and also rich in symbolism.
I captured these with my camera and I got lost in editing them. I've always wanted a perfection in what I do but sometimes, that's not easy. While getting lost editing the picture, I ended up subscribing to lightroom pro which I will be reviewing soon. Some of these moon shots are edited with it. But some are raw images from my camera. Without using a tripod it's always difficult to capture one as it gets shaky.
By now, I have captured a plenty of moon phases. Crescent is my favorite and also the day before the full moon as I can see the craters. Seeing the craters is something that always amaze me. Even during this crescent phase, the crater looks quite visible except it was still too bright.
