Did you know that today is this month lunar eclipse of 2022?
Unfortunately, the lunar eclipse that happens today will be visible in only a few countries. I found this information here Interactive Chart Shows Exactly When The Total Lunar Supermoon Eclipse is Happening Where You Live while I was checking out moon pictures on twitter. Unfortunately, my place isn’t included as I’ve further cross checked with the national news sites. Even Though I couldn’t see that lunar eclipse, I still got a view of a beautiful bright moon.
These are some of the pictures I managed to capture with my camera. Unlike the usual, this time around my battery was low and so, I could only take less than 10 shots of them.
After taking the pictures, I tried editing the moon using gimp. I tried inserting another object inside the moon from a picture that I got from unsplash. My noobness is really showing below. I will have to improve and learn a lot.
I tried getting into image manipulation because just taking the moon itself can get boring. I am pretty sure if you are a regular in my blog, you’ve seen some of my moon shots. Not all of them are great and I started realizing that I need a better camera with a better lens.
But with all I’ve got for now, I am pretty happy to have seen the moon. Sure, there are a lot of pictures of it out there but the satisfaction of seeing it with my own gear and being able to take it, is a different feeling. Don’t you agree?
