Hasta ahora enero ha empezado con buen pie, Apenas inició el año empecé a fundar las bases que necesito para desarrollar mis proyectos de fotografía y contenido en este año 2023, compré una nueva cámara y ahora solo estoy esperando que llegue a mis manos, pronto se las estaré mostrando.
En este post quiero mostrarles las 10 mejores fotos que pude hacer en el 2022 con mi cámara Canon T3I y 10 cosas que he ido aprendiendo en mi camino fotográfico, quizás estas cosas puedan servirles de consejos a esas personas que son principiantes.

Until now, January has started on the right foot. As soon as the year began, I began to lay the foundations I need to develop my photography and content projects in this year 2023, I bought a new camera and now I'm just waiting for it to reach my hands, i will be showing it you really soon.
In this post I want to show you the 10 best photos that I was able to take in 2022 with my Canon T3I camera and 10 things that I have been learning on my photographic journey, perhaps these things can serve as advice to those people that they are beginners.
1 ) Una de las primeras cosas que aprendí tiene que ver con los formatos y es que para diferentes tipos de plataformas necesitas trabajar diferentes tipos de formatos, por ejemplo, para los post de hive y videos de YouTube el formato mas apropiado es el horizontal, especialmente para las miniaturas ya que si pones la primera foto en vertical entonces se recortará la foto que pongas y no se verá bien. Para videos si o si debes usar el formato horizontal.
Para Instagram, Facebook y Tiktok es totalmente lo opuesto, como la mayoría de los usuarios ven los contenidos desde el teléfono entonces predomina mas el formato vertical así que si quieres tener mas exposición debes usar el formato vertical en esas redes sociales.
1 ) One of the first things I learned has to do with formats and is that for different types of platforms you need to work with different types of formats, for example, for hive posts and YouTube videos the most appropriate format it is the horizontal one, especially for the thumbnails since if you put the first photo vertically then the photo you put will be cropped and it will not look good. For videos yes or yes you should use the horizontal format.
For Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok it is completely the opposite, since most users view the content from their phones, then the vertical format predominates more, so if you want to have more exposure you should use the vertical format on those social networks.
2 ) Cuando comienzas en el mundo de la fotografía te das cuenta de que existen muchísimos estilos y categorías dentro del mundo de la fotografía, lo mejor que puedes hacer al comienzo es enfocarte en los estilos que mas te gusten, y así iras desarrollando técnicas y trucos dentro de esos estilos, ya que si haces lo contrario y tratas de abarcar todos a la vez entonces no te volverás un "experto" en ninguno. Y cuando una persona busca un fotógrafo para un trabajo de fotografía normalmente buscan expertos en su área.
2 ) When you start in the world of photography, you will realize that there are many styles and categories within the world of photography, the best thing you can do at the beginning is to focus on the styles that you like the most, and so on. you will develop techniques and tricks within those styles, because if you do the opposite and try to cover all of them at once then you will not become an "expert" in any of them. And when a person looks for a photographer for a photography job, they usually look for experts in their area.
3 ) Si quieres ser un fotógrafo amateur o solo lo haces por hobby esta bien solo tener una cámara, de hecho cualquier tipo de cámara de 18 mp en adelante te podrá servir para tu hobby. Pero si quieres ser un fotógrafo profesional necesitas tener diferentes tipos de herramientas como: Un trípode, lentes para la cámara, y muy importante tener luces; lo que me lleva al siguiente punto.
3 ) If you want to be an amateur photographer or you only do it for a hobby, it's fine to just have a camera, in fact any type of camera from 18 mp onwards can be used for your hobby. But if you want to be a professional photographer you need to have different types of tools such as: A tripod, camera lenses, and very important to have lights; which brings me to the next point.
4 ) Es mejor invertir en lentes y en equipos de iluminación que en una cámara nueva. La fotografía se compone de luz y si sabes de un buen manejo de iluminación puedes lograr fotos muy buenas, si iluminas bien la escena podrás usar el iso en 100 y esto te garantizara una foto muy nitida sin grano/ruido.
Un lente con una buena apertura, por ejemplo 1.2f , 1.4f , 1.8f te permitirá trabajar con un menor iso que otros lentes menos luminosos, lo que también te va a dar una buena definición de imagen.
4 ) It is better to invest in lenses and lighting equipment than in a new camera. Photography is made up of light and if you know good lighting management you can get very good photos, if you illuminate the scene well you can use the iso at 100 and this will guarantee a very sharp photo without grain / noise.
A lens with a good aperture, for example 1.2f, 1.4f, 1.8f will allow you to work with a lower iso than less bright lenses, which will also give you a good image definition.
5 ) Siempre dispara en manual de nada sirve tener las mejores herramienta si no las sabes usar. Disparar en manual te va a dar los conocimientos necesarios para tomar fotos en todos los tipos de escenarios que se te puedan presentar en tu trayecto de fotografía, con la practica y el conocimiento adquirido iras aprendiendo como solucionar los problemas que se presenten.
5 ) Always shoot in manual there is no point in having the best tools if you don't know how to use them. Shooting manually will give you the necessary knowledge to take photos in all types of scenarios that may arise in your photography journey. With practice and the knowledge acquired, you will learn how to solve the problems that arise.
6 ) Si aprendes sobre composición podrás hacer una buena foto, no importa si tienes un teléfono o una cámara profesional si no compones bien la foto igualmente se verá fea. Por esta razón es importante aprender todas las reglas sobre composiciones que existen, además si te conoces las reglas sabrás cuando vale la pena romperlas por el bien de una buena foto.
6 ) If you learn about composition you will be able to take a good photo, it does not matter if you have a phone or a professional camera if you do not compose the photo well it will still look ugly. For this reason it is important to learn all the composition rules that exist, plus if you know the rules you will know when it is worth breaking them for the sake of a good photo.
7 ) Cuando tomes una foto siempre presta atención a las cosas que se ven en el fondo de tu sujeto, un fondo caótico puede arruinar una foto ya que desvía la atención de lo que realmente quieres transmitir en tu foto. Entre un fondo con muchas cosas o uno simple siempre opta por uno simple.

8 ) Hay momentos en que las condiciones de luz no son las mas adecuadas al momento de tomar las fotos y tenemos que tomar una decisión y en ese momento es que viene esa pregunta... Una pregunta que me hacia frecuentemente cuando tomaba fotos es: ¿es mejor subexponer una foto o sobre exponer una foto?
La respuesta es: es mejor sobre exponer las fotos, ya que la luz posee mas información, si sobre exponemos captamos mas luz y por ende mas información que al momento de editar la foto le servirá mejor.
8 ) There are times when the light conditions are not the most appropriate to take the photos and we have to make a decision and at that moment that question arises... A question that I frequently asked myself when taking photos is: Is it better to underexpose a photo or overexpose a photo?
The answer is: it is better to over-expose the photos, since the light has more information, if we over-expose we capture more light and therefore more information that will serve you better when editing the photo.
9 ) El autoenfoque de la cámara puede ser un poderoso aliado, creo que es la única vez que podría recomendar usar la cámara de un modo automático mas que manual, y es que las cámaras actuales poseen un poderoso y actualizado sistema de enfoque, que si intentamos competir con este software muchas veces nos quedaremos atrás, en el 90% de las veces el autoenfoque hará un mejor trabajo que nosotros.
Claro, existen momentos donde es mejor usar el enfoque manual para lograr captar y plasmar lo que tenemos en nuestra cabezas, pero el otro 90% de las veces es mejor usar el enfoque automático.
9 ) The autofocus of the camera can be a powerful ally, I think that it is the only time that I could recommend using the camera in an automatic mode rather than manual, and that is because current cameras have a powerful and updated system of focus, that if we try to compete with this software many times we will be left behind, in 90% of the time the autofocus will do a better job than us.
Sure, there are times when it's better to use manual focus to capture and achieve what we have in our heads, but the other 90% of the time it's better to use autofocus.
10 ) Consumir mucho contenido sobre fotografía te ayuda a entrenar tu ojo a detectar cuando una foto es buena y cuando no. En mi caso yo me la paso viendo y comentado posts aquí en hive, especialmente en la comunidad de Photography Lovers, donde hacen vida tantos buenos y talentosos fotógrafos y me he sorprendido muchísimo por la gran cantidades de buenas fotos que se publican en esta comunidad y de tanto ver buenas fotos, he subido los "estándares" acerca de lo que es una buena foto y he ido mejorando y subiendo los estándares en mis propias fotos también.
Y por ultimo y el consejo mas obvio es practicar muchísimo, la practica hace al maestro y no se olviden de disfrutar todo el proceso.

10 ) Consuming a lot of photography content helps you train your eye to detect when a photo is good and when it's not.
