Greetings, Fellow Galactic Hitch-Hikers!
As I mentioned in my previous post on the topic, namely...
...
There was another way to look at things. Here's what you should be able to see from orbit when approaching from a certain angle. It turns out, what I shared yesterday was just a small part of the whole compilation of rocks jutting above the forest canopy. I shared something a few photos from what might have been just the span of the group that you can now see in the bottom left corner...
Camera Settings:
Aperture F 4; Shutter Speed 1/2500 of a sec.; Light Sensitivity ISO 200; Focal Length 154 mm.
Camera Model:
Canon EOS 30D DSLR with a 70-200 4 L lens on it.
I wish I had had the time to visit them all, say hello to my cosmic brethren and send them he visuals, invite them to this hospitable on the surface world.
No, seriously, I love rocks. Huge Monoliths are among my favorite type of natural formations. There's an alternate reality scenario where I have the time to climb them one by one. It would have taken quite a lot of walking just visiting most of them.
As you can imagine, it's much more than what you can see in a single frame here. It's just s small slice of stony cake. The fact just comes to show us how vast the possibilities in front of an alternate reality photographer who has all the time to roam and shoot.
Not me, despite my best intentions. I just have the time to share this one before I close my weary eyes and leave the other stories from that region for the days to come.
Perhaps...some of them during my next landing.
Peace and Rock!
Yours,
Manol
