Happy Sunday friends of Hive,
Today I want to share with you some photos taken in July 2019, at the Trapani salt pans, Sicily.

My wife was pregnant, and we had decided to admire the sunset from the salt pans of Trapani.
That day, we couldn't find a more beautiful sunset.
Intent on taking pictures that could convey the emotion I felt at that moment, I looked at my wife who, relaxed, caressed her belly ...
At that moment I said to him: Love, get up and look at your belly. We will keep this photo for our little one ..

Satisfied with the afternoon, we ate at a restaurant set up inside an old mill.
Unique and magical atmosphere!
If you pass by these parts, you absolutely must stop to enjoy the surrounding area ...

And today, looking at these photos, I realize that many times in the past I have left out moments, left out moments that nature had to offer ...
We must give more space to those things that enrich our being, fill ourselves with things that are good for us. And on this occasion my wife and I were happy, we were waiting to be able to hold our little girl in our hands!

Hoping one day to be able to return to live in my land, I leave you with a famous quote by L. Pirandello to Sicily and to the Sicilians who live far from it:
"I was born in Sicily and there man is born an island in the island and remains so until his death, even living far from the harsh homeland surrounded by the immense and jealous sea.
