A decir verdad, este cartel lo hice ya algún tiempo. Si la memoria no me falla fue por una iniciativa de la cuenta de Hive en Twitter. En aquel tiempo me encontraba jugando bastante con Photoshop para poder aprender a hacer algunas cosas que por suerte en el futuro necesite, así que unas buenas gracias a mi yo del pasado. Así que les voy a contar como lo hice y no te alarmes si no sabes de Photoshop pues es muy sencillo.
Se me ocurrió tomar la siguiente imagen de un modelo al que le había hecho unas fotos en los días anteriores y agregarle el texto de HOLD en la parte de arriba pues es hacia donde está su mirara. Con ver la imagen creo que cualquiera se identifica con lo que la palabra HOLD significa para todos en el mundo de las criptomonedas, pero me faltaba algo y es ahí cuando se me ocurrió cambiar la letra "O" por un gráfico del token HIVE.

At that time I was playing around with Photoshop a lot to learn how to do some things that, luckily, I needed in the future, so a big thank you to my past self. I came up with the idea of taking the following image of a model that I had taken some pictures of in the days before and adding the HOLD text at the top because that's where her gaze is directed. Just looking at the image, I think anyone can identify with what the word HOLD means for all of us in the world of cryptocurrencies, but I was missing something, and that's when it occurred to me to change the "O" letter for a HIVE token graphic.

Fue así como me di a la tarea de buscar un logo de HIVE que cumpliera dicha función. Di con una imagen de la que solo tomé el logo, que se aprecia en forma de moneda. Lo que me recuerda que me gustaría tener una moneda así, así que dejare la idea aquí para el próximo @hivefest que si no lo sabes, es el próximo septiembre.
Separarlo del fondo es muy sencillo con la herramienta de selección, marcas la zona de la moneda y crear una nueva capa a partir de ella. Ocultas la capa base y todo lo demás desaparecerá.

Separating it from the background is very simple with the selection tool, you mark the coin area and create a new layer from it. You hide the base layer and everything else will disappear.

Si lo notan, en la anterior imagen estaba en la segunda pestaña. De esta manera solo tuve que copiar la capa que cree, pasar a la primera pestaña donde está la foto con las letras y darle a pegar. A partir de ahí solo toca darle un tamaño acorde con las letras y colocarlo en posición. Pero algo le estaba faltando.
If you notice in the previous image, I was in the second tab. This way I only had to copy the layer I created, go to the first tab where the photo with the letters is, and click paste. From there you just have to give it a size that matches the letters and place it in position. But something was missing.

Hay un truquillo que me encanta de Photoshop y son las consultas de colores. Es una tipo de capa que puedes añadir donde podrás seleccionar entre varios "filtros", si lo quieres llamar así, que te ayudarán a darle un enfoque de color distinto a cualquier imagen. En esta ocasión me fui por uno que ayudaría a darle un punto dramático, aunque ya era bastante dramática la imagen, pero le da en mi opinión esa visión apocalíptica que no está demás.
Una vez que me gusta lo hecho, creo una capa con todos los cambios. Esto lo suelo hacer como un punto de guardado por si deseo luego agregarle algo más, pueden tomarlo como una manía que tengo.
I love a little trick in Photoshop, and that's color queries. It's a type of layer you can add where you can select from several "filters", if you want to call it that, that will help you give a different color focus to any image. This time I went for one that would help give it a dramatic point, although the image was already quite dramatic, but in my opinion it gives that apocalyptic vision that is not bad.
Once I like what I've done, I create a layer with all the changes. I usually do this as a save point in case I want to add something else later, you can take it as a mania I have.

Lo siguiente es lo más sencillo de todo. Existen muchos sitios desde donde puedes descargar un mockup que no es más que una imagen modificable que te ayuda a ahorrar tiempo. Pues en ocasiones bajo algunos mockups que creo me pueden ayudar en cualquier cosa de los trabajos que hago y este era uno de ellos. Una imagen de un cartel en una calle a plena luz del día. Si te fijas bien, solo tuve que cambiar la capa que tiene por nombre "[YOUR IMAGE HERE]".
Asi de sencillo. Hay herramientas como Canva que tienes funciones como estas integradas por si quieres aventurarte en ello sin tener muchos conocimientos.

Y ahora si los dejo con la imagen final. ¿Creen que imágenes publicitarias como esta ayudaría a evitar un poco el FOMO?
