Yes, I am drawn to the sea. I simply have to admit that, because it simply can't be denied. Whether beach or cliff, I'm always impressed by the big water in front of me. Even the time of day or the season is not that important, although the sea is of course most beautiful in spring and summer.
Harbors also have their charm for me, or even piers where fishermen cavort. Every now and then I walk out there to the tip and let the infinite water surface have its intense effect on me. When I reach the end, I turn around and walk back. Or sometimes I just stand still and enjoy the fresh air and the wild waves around me. When a ferry passes by in the distance, my thoughts go with it on its journey.
Hopefully they will take me across the big water again soon. At the moment, at least my dreams remain, which I let run free. Sometimes very close to the water and at other times from some distance. Fortunately I don't have far to go to the sea and so I get to dream quite often. Of course, a large portion of wanderlust and melancholy always swing along.
Perhaps these are also the salt in the soup of life. In any case, I would not want to miss the sea with its endless horizon, which have become good friends to me over time. And which I will soon visit again....

Jawohl, mich zieht es ans Meer. Das muss ich einfach zugeben, weil es sich auch einfach nicht leugnen lässt. Ob Strand oder Steilküste, mich beeindruckt das große Wasser vor mir immer wieder. Auch die Tages- oder Jahreszeit ist nicht ganz so wichtig, wenn auch es natürlich im Frühling und Sommer am Meer am schönsten ist.
Auch Häfen haben für mich ihren Charme oder sogar Molen, auf denen sich die Angler tummeln. Ab und zu laufe ich dort hinaus bis zur Spitze und lasse die unendliche Wasserfläche ganz intensiv auf mich einwirken. Am Ende angekommen drehe ich wieder um und laufe zurück. Oder bleibe manchmal auch einfach noch etwas stehen und genieße die frische Luft und die wilden Wellen um mich herum. Wenn dann auch noch in der Ferne eine Fähre vorbeituckert, gehen meine Gedanken mit auf Reisen.
Hoffentlich nehmen sie mich bald mal wieder mit über das große Wasser. Im Augenblick bleiben mir wenigstens meine Träume, welchen ich mal ganz nah dran am Wasser und manchmal auch aus einiger Entfernung freien Lauf lasse. Glücklicherweise habe ich es nicht weit bis zum Meer und komme von daher ziemlich oft zum Träumen. Bei denen natürlich immer eine große Portion Fernweh und Melancholie mitschwingen.
Vielleicht sind diese ja auch das Salz in der Suppe des Lebens. Auf jeden Fall möchte ich das Meer mit seinem endlosen Horizont nicht missen, welche mir mit der Zeit gute Freunde geworden sind. Und die ich bald wieder besuchen werde....
