These people definitely do not like trivial things!
Having a cat, dog or rabbit as a pet is cute and completely normal. However, with a python and a tarantula, it gets interesting.
I met Rossi on the playground in the park. My wife and I walk the babies together, and when I found out what pets she has, I immediately wanted to make this story. We went to visit them yesterday. They live in an apartment with three huge terrariums and many children's toys. The royal python - Gerasim, was sleeping and Martin / Rossi's wife / woke him up for the photos. The first minute he seemed quite strange and just looking for a place to hide. Apparently that's being a sleepy python. :))) We waited for him to wake up, then Rossi put it around his neck like a locket. We called their son and one of the two cats - Minka / the other one didn't like guests and hid / to make a family portrait. By the way, this python was not bad at all to the touch. I've touched snakes before, but it felt gross.
Then it was time for dinner. Martin had left a frozen rat in a thawing dish. He started warming it with a hair dryer because snakes smell their prey because of body heat. We left the python in the terrarium with the rat, and I took a fighting position waiting for the prey to be eaten. Gerasim made a few laps in the pool, then approached the corpse, but clearly stressed by the light and the photos, did not want dinner. This breed of snakes was active in the evening. Too bad for me. I missed a great shot. Nothing, next time I'll take my time and not leave until I've photographed the treat.

Martin took it out of the terrarium like a stuffed toy. Yes, it is true that the snake and the spider were not poisonous, but they are still exotic animals to me that I have mostly seen on TV. For the first photo, we left it in a pot, and the cat immediately climbed up to the window and started looking at it. I couldn't tell which animal was more afraid of the other, but Martin said that no one member of the family got in anyone's way. Except for the baby when he wakes up in the evening. :)))
The tarantula can sit anywhere in the apartment. He doesn't run, he just sits.
ROYAL PYTHON INFORMATION
This type of python inhabits Africa and is the most preferred pet among snakes because of its calm nature. The name "royal python" comes from a legend about Cleopatra, which states that she wore such a snake around her neck. The snake is about 1 meter long, the pets eat rats / one once a week /. They are not poisonous. They kill their victims by strangulation.
MEXICAN RED KNEE TARANTULA INFORMATION
This type of tarantula inhabits the coast of Mexico and the southern part of the United States. It likes moist places and hides in the bushes. This is the most preferred species of tarantula for pets because of their large size, bright colors and lack of venom. Due to the sharp decline of these spiders in the wild, it is forbidden to catch them for sale, lalto and their import and export, but they are allowed to be kept at home.
