This fruit can be eaten when it is ripe as well as its juice can be cooked.. We also make pitha with this fruit. This fruit is very popular here. It is available for purchase at this time even if you go to the market. You will be surprised to know that more than 99% of the palm trees in our region grow naturally. There are many lands where many palm trees can be seen. There are both female and male palm trees. Male palm trees do not bear fruit. Female palm trees bear a lot of palms and they are sold in their raw state. Raw palm seeds are very soft and tasty to eat. A few days ago I went to the market and saw some people selling raw date seeds, I bought about 17-18 seeds from there and shared them with my family. My wife loves to eat these seeds.
